AI Copilot
The laptop is a "user" in a Microsoft 365 environment. This includes the OpenAI-based GPT-5 copilot environment. Agents are built to specifically assist with aspects of the workt that needs to be done.
Remote Access
This connects me to you via cellular radio managed by us. TeamViewer is used to create a secure connection where the screen can be shared.
Rockwell Automation Software
The Rockwell software you use will be on this laptop. We will keep it updated and help your people know how to use it. This list includes RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME Studio (for PanelViews), and Connected Components Workbench. Monthly patches will be applied, as Rockwell sends them out.
Virtual Machine Based
Recovery from disaster events is rapid due to installing software on Microsoft's Hyper-V virtual machine system. This allows isolation and separation of the various eras of software to deal with legacy equipment.
Various Support Software
It takes a lot of software, besides Rockwell, to support the various devices and systems. Interface software for laser sensors, VFD's, servo drives, safety systems, etc, are all needed to keep things running.
Laptop Maintenance
Updating of the operating system, and patches for Defender will be applied to help ensure the OS stays safe. We will also take care of cleaning the unit to keep dirt and grime build-up from causing premature failures. Logs will be reviewed and alerts managed.
Helpdesk & Project System
In order to facilitate working on projects or managing issues together, we will provide access to our work management system. If you already have one that you would like to use, we can cooperate with that as well.
Continuous Training System
The best way to learn is to have deep resources when new things come up. Skills can be built on the fly. We provide a system to get that done.
Code Repository (File-Based)
Code and configuration files can be stored in the Microsoft 365 file system. We will provide the procedure to ensure backups are created, and clear versioning is done so everyone knows what is the latest code.
In-Plant WIFI
Connecting to machines will require WIFI access to them. We will work with you take care of the prerequisites for this. It may be necessary to setup extenders to ensure coverage for all relevant systems.
Information Controllers
Information controllers such as Controller Index, Network Devices, System Diagram, and Credentials will be created, populated and stored in the Microsoft 365 system, accessible through the Teams app and corresonding channel.

These two systems, used effectively, and along with planning we do with you, keep things happening inside a routine. This makes the right things available on demand and instantly when needed.
